PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) – KAI is an Indonesian company that is involved in railway transportation services. Its business include providing, organizing and managing railway transportation services in Indonesia. KAI is a state-owned company that does not conduct any Initial Public Offering (IPO), where the Company’s shares is 100% owned by Government of Indonesia. As of December 2014, KAI now has 9 Operation Areas (DAOP), 3 Regional Divisions (DIVRE) and directly employs 26,657 employees. KAI also supported by 1,430 units of ready to operate coaches, 582 units of ready to operate electric trains, 6,387 units of ready to operate wagons, and 464 ready to operate locomotives. The state-owned railway operates now has 6 key subsidiaries; PT Kereta Api Logistik (99.9% owned by KAI), PT Kereta Api Properti Manajemen (99.9%), PT Kereta Api Pariwisata (99.9%), PT Kereta Api Indonesia Commuter Jabodetabek (99.78%), PT Reska Multi Usaha (95.01%), and PT Railink (60%).

Achievement and performance of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in 2014 shows good results achievement. According to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Annual Report 2014 as cited by JobsCDC.com, KAI registered double digit growth in total passengers The state-owned railway operator reported total passengers of 280.35 millions passengers in 2014. This reflected an 26.3% increased compared to 221.73 million passengers in 2013. In terms of profit, total net profit increased 68.3% from Rp 561 billion in 2013 to Rp 949 billion in 2014.

D3 Mechanical Engineering/Electro Engineering.

Requirements

D3 from all departments with background in SMA IPA or SMK Electricity/Mechanical/Automotive.

General Requirements

WNI;
Healthy physical / spiritual and not color blind;
Well-behaved.
Minimum D3 from all departments with background in SMA IPA or SMK Electricity/Mechanical/Automotive and minimum GPA of 2.95 for Calon Masinis position;
Minimum D3 majoring in Mechanical Engineering/Electro Engineering with minimum GPA of 2.95 for Operator Mesin Perawat Jalan Rel (MPJR) position;
For Operator Mesin Perawat Jalan Rel (MPJR) position :

Minimum accredited “A” on the date of graduation for Electro Engineering.
Minimum accredited “B” on the date of graduation for Mechanical Engineering.

For Tenaga Operasional, Pemeliharaan Sarana dan Pemeliharaan Prasarana position : minimum average UAN/NEM score of 6.5;

Minimum age of 18 yeara and a maximum age of 30 years old per 1 December 2015;

Preferably Male;

Never involved in drugs or psychotropic substances;

Not pierced (special for Male);

No tattoos.
